About Decals and Stencils by VINYLINES

Hello, my name is Tyson Veen, owner and principal artist at VINYLINES LLC, an Arizona LLC based in Red Rock, Arizona since October 20, 2015.

I started designing and cutting custom decals back in 2006 while running an online automotive business called DragonAutomotive.com. VINYLINES has since replaced that business, and I now cut vinyl decals, paint stencils and more.

Decals and Stencils by VINYLINES is my web store. I’m bringing back the DECALS and STENCILS name as the home for my commonly ordered designs, plus the extras I cut along the way.

Each cut vinyl decal and paint stencil is a handmade item. Decals are cut from ORACAL 651, my standard decal vinyl. Stencils are cut from ORACAL 811/813 stencil film, made for painting.

Decals And Stencils

Vinyl decals are a great way to promote a business, product or service. They are also great for decorating homes, businesses and even temporary locations such as trade shows or grand opening events.

Stencils offer a way to help paint complex designs onto something using a sticky backed vinyl material. I can cut both positive and negative paint stencils, or a combination of both. Not sure which you need? The Help / FAQ page explains the difference.

Custom Artwork

My services revolve around the custom design and creation of vector art. Vector art can be scaled infinitely large or small and is what my machine uses to cut vinyl. From the same file I can make a decal or a paint stencil.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for, or you need to convert your own design into a decal or stencil, send me an image for review through Contact. Once I receive it, I’ll review your image and estimate how much time it will take to convert and or illustrate. If your image needs time to illustrate, I base the cost on the time needed to create the file I use to cut the decal or stencil.

Tips when sending files:

  • If sending a vector file, be sure all fonts have been converted to outlines.
  • When creating vector art, convert your strokes into geometry.

Local Services In Southern Arizona

I do not have a retail studio open to the public. I perform some services by appointment at my home studio in Red Rock, or I may be able to visit your home or place of business to discuss a project or apply decals that you bought from me.

Simple decals being applied to a vehicle can be done at my home studio. I can also come to your home or business to apply decals in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. There is a minimum application fee of $50 for Tucson and $100 for Phoenix. Please Contact me for a quote.

I’m certified by the Orafol Wrapping Academy for vehicle wraps, including color changes and paint protection. Contact me to talk about your project.
